A great vegan alternative made from almonds and Brazil nuts!
Making the decision to stick to a plant-based diet may eventually bring about the question “what about cheese?!” If you’re wondering how you’ll ever survive without cheese in all of its pungent, creamy, and gooey glory; fear not. With a demand for a healthier alternative and cruelty-free options, vegan cheese has hit the shelves of grocery stores in many cities. And thanks to nutritional yeast, with a wide variety of nuts and seeds and a dash of creativity, it’s become easier to let the dairy option fall by the wayside to make room for a healthier alternative.

Indulge in Superfood hemp seed desserts!
You don’t have to be a hippie to love hemp. Recently making it’s presence known as a superfood, hemp is one of the highest plant based protein sources and has made appearances in smoothies, power cookies, in salads, on top of yogurt, cereal and even mixed in with mashed potatoes.
With a nutty yet versatile flavor, hemp seeds also make great additions to desserts, providing protein, fiber and healthy fats. Because they contain these macronutrients, hemp seeds also help stabilize blood sugar levels and help to slow the release of sugars into the bloodstream, avoiding energy spikes and crashes.
